Zoom Recording of My Event - Where Is It?
The location of the recording depends upon which Zoom account was used for your event:
If a Braver Angels account was used, you should be able to find it on the Zoom Archive. You'll need to be logged in as a Braver Angels Member to see this archive.
If a personal or private account was used, they will need to contact the account owner.

Can I use a webinar format with my Zoom reservation?
We have only one webinar license, so if you want to use a webinar format this needs to be coordinaed in advance. When you request your zoom reservation with ERF, you'll want to make it clear you want to do a webinar. A dry run of the webinar is recommended so you can test and practice with the functions you plan to use.
How many people can attend a webinar?
A webinar involves three classes of people, as shown below
Host and Co-hosts:
The total number of hosts/co-hosts and panelists is limited to the number licensed for a zoom meeting - typically 300 people
Panelists:
Panelists for your event are identified in advance and are invited to be a panelist
In a Braver Angels event, the whips, moderators, chairs, etc are also invited as panelists
Attendees:
Attendees are those attending the event to listen to the participants
The total number allowed depends upon the webinar license - for Braver Angels, this is 1000 or 5000 people
What is possible with Webinar Question and Answers?
A webinar Q&A box has several forms:
Anonymous or not
Turned on and off - you can limit it to after speeches or prompt attendees to respond in a particular way that focuses their attention
Note: In a large meeting or webinar, there are always a few people behaving obnoxiously, but it is manageable.
It is possible to have a Q&A type function in a normal Zoom meeting through the chat box. The approach is to assign someone to be responsible for monitoring chat and passing questions along to the moderator. This is an additional role to the usual ones.
How do I reserve a meeting using the newly allocated field ops Zoom licenses?
Braver Angels is providing a set of licenses for use by Alliances across the US. If you are scheduling alliance activities, we encourage you to use the Zoom licenses. Email field-ops-zoom-wnc@braverangels.org to request a reservation.

How do Zoom short links work in the ERF?
Events registered via the Event Request Form are assigned a unique numeric ID. This ID is then used to create helpful "short links" for participants that redirect to the correct Zoom meeting if they are clicked within 1 hour prior to the event start time or 1 hour after the event end time.
A Zoom short link for participants follows the format below:
https://zoom.braverangels.org/<<EVENT_ID>>
So if an event ID was 1234, the Zoom short link for that event would be
https://zoom.braverangels.org/1234
If you are an organizer and you wish to test a Zoom short link outside of the 1-hr time window, you can append ?organizerTest=true to the end of the participant URL and you will be redirected to the meeting.
For example, https://zoom.braverangels.org/1234?organizerTest=true will take you to the zoom meeting for event 1234, regardless of when the link is clicked.
How do I access an AI summary recording of my Zoom meeting?
You should be able to access the summary from within the Zoom account you used for the meeting.
Open your Event Team Support (ETS) App for your event/meeting.
Log into the Zoom account via the credentials provided in the ETS.
Navigate to Meeting Summary and select your meeting to access the AI summary.
