How do I update national subscriber info? 

Presently there is not really a clean way for Alliances or States to handle profile updates on behalf of subscribers. There is a way for members can do it themselves.  

If the person is a subscriber and not a member, their profile information in Action Network (our mass emailing / newsletter system) can be updated by the user by following the footer links in the emails they receive, where it says "click here" (screenshot below).

If a person really can't or won't do the updates themselves, you can always forward their inquiry to membership@braverangels.org and our team will take care of it.

How do I update local subscriber info (MailChimp)? 

Option 1:

If a person contacts a state or alliance to be removed from local emails via MailChimp, you can simply remove them in MailChimp by unsubscribing them. Doing so will have no impact on their national subscription in Action Network. 


Option 2:

The person can unsubscribe themselves within the footer of every MailChimp email they receive from the state or alliance. 

How do I update member info?

Every member has a login in the website where they control their member profile information.  When they update their profile, the changes propagate within 24-48 to most other systems.   The data in the toolkit refreshes weekly, but it can be refreshed manually from the Add-on menu (under "Extensions").
