Tip #1: Customize Your Gmail Layout
Do you prefer viewing your Gmail inbox in another way?
In settings, there are multiple ways to change the view format so that it better suits your style. In this video, you will learn how to adjust inbox density, edit your theme, change the inbox type, adjust reading layout, and how to hide certain features.

Tip #2: Apply Filters and Labels
Do you feel flooded with email?
Filters and labels are a great way to reduce email in your inbox. In this video, you will learn how to set up labels (similar to folders) and create a filter that will identify and organize emails within your labels.
For example, you may wish to set up a label called BA Newsletters. In order to filter incoming newsletter emails, you can type 'newsletter@braverangels.org' into the 'from' line in the Filter options.

Tip #3: Try Multiple Inboxes Using Labels
Have you ever dreamed of your inbox reaching zero new messages?
The multiple inboxes feature is a great setup to achieve this goal. Most email falls into three categories: Action Items, Awaiting Reply, Read Through Later, and Other. In this video, you will learn how to set up multiple inboxes using labels to organize your messages. If you prefer other label types than the ones explained in this example, feel free to use your own!

Tip #4: Use the Task Lists App
It can feel overwhelming when trying to identify and schedule tasks associated with emails in your inbox. The Task Lists App helps to lessen this stress by providing a space where you can save these tasks.

You can save an important email thread with your task, so that you can reference it when need be
You can have multiple task lists
